Perfumerías Júlia, a company with solid roots and a fascinating history, has evolved from its beginnings in 1939 to become a benchmark in the world of perfumery and selective cosmetics.
Founded by Mrs. Júlia Bonet in Andorra at a challenging historical moment, the company has demonstrated a unique ability to adapt to adverse circumstances and forge its own path in the industry.
With more than 70 points of sale throughout Spain, Perfumerías Júlia remains a benchmark in perfumery and selective cosmetics. Its ability to merge tradition and experience, offering the best brands of fragrances and makeup with personalized attention, reflects the constant adaptation to market demands.
Tradition and modernity
In this Perfumerías Júlia project, one of the challenges is to achieve an organic shape of the stretch ceiling that is completely homogeneous, without the presence of unwanted glitter or shadows.
Actilum, at the forefront of lighting solutions with stretch ceilings, presented the answer to this challenge with its Frontline technology.
Homogeneous light emission in stretch ceilings
In the conception of this project, the selection of Frontline products proved to be the key solution to address the challenges associated with stretch ceilings.
The main feature of this technology is its ability to direct the LED light emission to the sides, thus ensuring a correct diffusion and uniform distribution of light throughout the space.
Cutting-edge design - Aluminum SMD circuits can be partitioned
The essence of Frontline technology lies in its innovative aluminum SMD circuit, divisible in 1/3 and 2/3. This feature not only facilitates installation in stretch ceilings, but also effectively addresses thermal control, releasing temperature efficiently without requiring additional heat dissipation.
With an outstanding efficiency of 121 lumens per watt, the results obtained in backlit stretch ceilings are truly extraordinary.
The addition of the Nichia LED consolidates the company’s position at the forefront of durable, quality lighting.
Overcoming challenges
Creating design and aesthetics
In the Júlia Perfumeries project, the synergy between stretch ceilings and Frontline technology not only overcame the technical challenges, but also created an unparalleled visual experience.
The elimination of unwanted glare and shadows in the interior space of the perfumery not only enhances the quality of the lighting, but also contributes to the unique and enveloping atmosphere that defines Júlia perfumeries.
PVC Stretch Ceiling
A stretch ceiling is much more than a simple covering; it is a masterpiece of design and technology. These ceilings are distinguished by their versatility and elegance.
They consist of a special membrane that is stretched by means of gas cannons that raise its temperature and thus tighten it to the desired perimeter, creating a smooth and seamless surface.
This method allows the integration of lighting, providing uniform light distribution and eliminating unwanted shadows.
In addition, heat-stretched PVC ceilings are highly customizable in terms of shape, color and texture, offering a unique and aesthetically stunning solution for any architectural space.
Versatility
The versatility of stretch ceiling decoration solutions makes it possible to adapt to various types of spaces, meeting the specific needs of each environment.
The combination of Frontline technology with stretch ceilings not only responds to specific challenges, but also sets a high standard for commercial lighting.
At Actilum, we understand that lighting is not only a functional necessity, but a powerful tool to create unique environments.
